  • How are these different than other at-home extensions?

Other at-home extensions such as halo and clip-ins are meant for daily use only. Quick Tapes are designed to be applied and last for weeks before removal.

  • Do I need hair extensions training to apply these?

These extensions are created specifically for anyone who doesn't have experience with hair extensions. They are easier and faster than applying clip-in extensions and don't need to be removed daily.

  • How many times can they be reused?

This depends on how well they are cared for and how often you choose to remove them. With proper maintenance and care, our full cuticle hair will last a year or longer, giving you approximately 12 applications.

  • Excess residue after extension removal?

The tape on your extensions might leave a bit of sticky stuff after two weeks of wear, but fear not! Our fabulous new tape, included in your kit, is here to save the day. It's super sleek and won't leave you with that pesky residue. Plus, it's designed to last a fabulous 4-6 weeks before it starts to soften. So, your second removal will be much easier!

  • How to banish that pesky residue? Easy-Peasy!

First, drench your hair in warm, luscious coconut oil and let it work its magic for about an hour. I love to sleep overnight with it, while also treating my extensions to an overnight leave-in spa session.

When you're ready, hop in the shower and slather on some conditioner. Use a fine-tooth comb to work the conditioner through your hair, breaking up any leftover residue. Rinse, shampoo as needed (a clarifying shampoo is best), and condition just the ends. Voila! Gorgeous, residue-free hair!

  • The tape is too sticky to pull off of the extension! No worries - we got you!

If you're struggling to remove the tape from the weft after taking them out of your hair, grab some dry shampoo and give it a good spray. Let it sit and dry for a bit. Then, try pushing the tape off again. It might get a bit messy the first time, but don’t sweat it! Leaving a little residue on the weft is no biggie. You can still apply the new tape over it, just make sure it's oil-free.

Pro tip: The replacement tape is way easier to handle and usually comes off without a hitch!

  • How do I wash my hair?

Do not flip your hair over your head. Allow the water to saturate your hair from above. Shampoo the top portion of hair first. Work shampoo in between wefts, being gentle, and not scrubbing. The tape is waterproof; however, heat, oil, and/or water pressure may cause your extensions to slip. Avoid getting conditioner, or shampoo if there are oils, directly on the attachments.

Do not towel dry your hair by flipping your hair over in the towel. This can pull on your attachments. Pull hair to the side and squeeze the water out of your hair. Until your hair cools, the attachments are soft, press your extensions into your head again to ensure they are secure.
